DISCLAIMER!

"Birth is as safe as life gets."

~ Harriet Hartigan

Subscribe to ICAN and support positive and informed birth in your community!

ICAN exists solely by the support of numerous private citizens who recognize the need for an organization like ours. By becoming a member, you are supporting our efforts, both locally and nationally, to lower the rising cesarean rate, offer resources to help women achieve the births they want, and offer meetings that provide informational and emotional support for all aspects of pregnancy, birth and parenting to mothers and their partners as they make their journey through the childbearing year.

The benefits to subscribers include:

To join, contact a Colorado Chapter Leader, attend an ICAN of Colorado Meeting or click HERE for a printable version of our subscription form to fill out and send in with check or money order.

Where is your money going?

Our current treasury is roughly $350. With these funds, in addition to smaller scale expenses such as print materials and distribution, we plan to update our lending library with selection including

Ina May's Guide to Childbirth

by Ina May Gaskin

Birthing From Within by Pam England

Sit Up and Take Notice: Positioning Yourself for a Better Birth by Pauline Scott

(currently featured by ICAN national and available for purchase on their website)

We also plan to organize events such as a viewing party for Singing the Bones, Birth Days with information and resources for expecting families, and eventually more high-profile speakers.

Thank you for your support!
